In this United States alone, there is a shockingly large number of kids who do not possess the confidence or know-how to participate in the kitchen. In this mini-doc we meet an 11 year old boy named Evan who breaks the mold with help from the Quaker Oats sponsored program, Common Threads. The program teaches kids about different cultures and healthy eating while seamlessly helping them learn skills and techniques to grow their confidence in the kitchen. Green Buzz Agency approached this branded documentary as a slice-of-life piece, allowing Evan and his family to lead the story.
